RB-500 Gibson Banjo

The Style 500 had features very close to the Style 800 (gold plating and full binding), however it notably retained the one-piece flange and bowtie inlays of the Style 250 of the 1960's.  These are quite rare - only 101 were produced.

Note the unusual stamp in the rim.  The same number is also found stamped in the side-wall of the resonator.
