1949 TB-100

This banjo is from the first real production year after the WWII Gibson haitus.  It has a double-bound resonator, which although common for that first post-war year is virtually unheard of after 1949.  These banjos are significant because they have the full-thickness rim of three plies, a solid one-piece flange, and a pre-war specification resonator.

The tuner buttons and the tailpiece on this one were probably added at a later time.
